About ROHS
  RoHS is a European Union legislation enacted a mandatory standard, its full name is the Convention on the limitation of the use of certain hazardous components in electrical and electronic equipment directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). The standard was officially implemented on July 1, 2006, mainly for the specification for materials and workmanship standards for electrical and electronic products, making it more conducive to human health and the environment. Standard aims to eliminate the electrical and electronic products for lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers all 6 substances, and to focus on the required lead content must not exceed 0.1%.

European RoHS items 2011/65/EU requires testing for 6, the directive entered into force for the ROHS directive.

RoHS detection project are lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).
On HBCDD,BBP,DBP,DEHP project of the directive refers only to the subsequent inclusion of priority assessment controls, is not compulsory for manufacturers for testing.
RoHS and WEEE directives
The EU Parliament and the EU Commission on February 13, 2003 in which it published in the Official Gazette the directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (referred to as the WEEE directive) and the restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment directive (referred to as the RoHS directive)
The RoHS directive and the WEEE Directive requirements into the restriction of hazardous substances management and discard the recovery and management of the ten major type 102 kinds of products, ex-seven products are the main exports of electrical products in China. Including major home appliances, small home appliances, information and communications equipment, consumer electronics, lighting equipment, electrical and electronic tools, toys, leisure and sports equipment, medical devices (excluding implanted or infected products), monitoring and control equipment, automatic vending machines.
December 3, 2008, the EU WEEE directive was issued (2002/96/EC) and the RoHS directive (2002/95/EC) revised proposal. %
